hello everyone
first of all, i would like to apologise for the lack of YGO related news and only for the update of decklists. the fact is that, due to other blogs are doing fairly well updating products and so, i dont feel the need of posting about yuginews.
so, lets go for Inzektor Imitation.
the deck is basically a normal inzektor deck, but running some techs that will help you to perform nice plays and increase its consistency. the decklist is as follows:
monsters: 21
3 dragonfly
3 centipede
3 hornet
1 giga-mantis
2 ladybug
1 hopper
1 beetron
1 gorz
2 veiler
3 TGU
1 sangan
spells: 14
1 inzektor sword zektkaliber
1 dark hole
1 monster reborn
1 heavy storm
1 mind control
1 book of moon
2 pot of duality
3 insect imitation
3 MST
traps: 5
1 solemn judgment
2 solemn warning
2 torrential tribute
the deck focus on the same: dragonfly + hornet, but adding 2 ladybug, 1 beetron and 3 insect imitation to the equation, we have a more consistent deck. lets see some sample plays.
-TGU + sangan + insect imitation= TGU, tributed sangan wil bring hopper via insect imitation and hornet via sangan will pop 1 card of your opp. - cards in your deck.
-ladybug + insect imitation= summon ladybug, tribute it to bring dragonly, fly eff for ladybug, summon centipede, centi eff for ladybug, add hornet. then you have fly + centi + hornet in hand nad you have -3 cards in your deck. also your opponent will have to get rid of both monsters in his/her turn to not to be minused.
-dragonfly + hornet + insect imitation=it is the best play and too weary to write, so i will simplify as much as possible.
1. fly pops a card and summon centi, centi equipes hornet.
2. imitation on fly for beetron. beetron eff send hornet to grave and summon fly in def. search for mantis.
3. equip mantis and hornet to fly. pop both and summon 2 centi. (beetron + fly + 3 centi on field).
4. fly + 1st centi for melomelody. melo eff detaching fly. 2nd centi eff and 3rd centi eff for mantis and hornet. pop both and summon fly and search zektkaliber. (beetron + 2 centi + 1 fly + melomelody on field).
5. both centi for 2nd melomelody. melo eff. equip fly with hornet. pop beetron and summon hopper. equip hopper with hornet and fly with zektkaliber. pop both and summon hornet and get a card from your grave. (1 fly + 2 melomelody + 1 hopper + 1 hornet on field).
6. fly + hornet for melomelody. melo eff. and attack for game: 1400 + 1400 + 1400 + 1400 + 1400 + 1400 + 1700 = 10100
the deck is doing good results in playtesting, so lets take a chance on it.
i hope you have enjoyed.
greetings.

Lancer Frogs
hello everyone
after so much time without posting anything. im back with my pre-hieratic deck (since i havent all the cards yet). this deck is known as Lancer Frogs. for those that are unfamiliar with that kind of deck, here you have a link to its official thread in pojo, with tips, the cards you could need and the most important thing, rulings.
first of all, the decklist.
monsters (27)
3 tour guide
3 sea lancer
3 swap frog
3 dupe frog
2 ronintoadin
1 treeborn frog
1 poison draw frog
3 light and darkness dragon
1 gorz
2 battle fader
1 sangan
3 effect veiler
1 caius
spells (12)
3 enemy controller
1 salvage
3 MST
1 heavy storm
1 dark hole
1 monster reborn
1 pot of avarice
1 book of moon
traps (1)
1 treacherous trap hole
the strategy of the deck is to fill the graveyard with frogs and ronins using swap frog´s effect. then, use treeborn and ronins or enemy controlled monsters to summon LADD and waste your opp´s resources.
another strategy (the main one) is, after dropping at least a dupe frog/poison draw fron and a ronin, summon ronin banishing 1 of those frogs (your choice depends on if you want to draw or search a frog), tribute ronin for sea lancer, and activate its effect, being a 2300 atk monster with non destruction effect that nets you a card via poison or dupe.
tech choices:
-3 tour guide: a engine by itself, not only serves at an instant floater for sangan and then sangan for any frog or sea lancer, but it serves as an instant rank 3 xyz.
-3 LADD and 1 caius: you can summon LADD using any frog or ronin in your hand and swap frog. discard frog or ronin to grave, activate swap´s effect, send a frog or ronin (depending on what you discarded), sumon ronin and tribute both for LADD. then your opponent will have to waste, at least, 2 cards to get rid of it, and if it is destroyed, you will special summon swap frog, activate its effect and send treeborn frog. in your next standby phase, special sumon treeborn and tribute both treeborn and swap for 2nd LADD if you have it in your hand and keep on gettin pluses negating your opp´s cards. the sole caius is here to get rid of problematic cards, as usual.
-1 salvage: nice card, since is a free +1 in hand and can bring back your destroyed sea lancer to hand to repeat the play again (summon, equip and so). it also provides frogs in graveyar to keep on special summoning swap frog and fill the graveyard as quik as possible. eg: discard frog for swap´s effect, send ronin, bounce swap, activate salvage, discard and send one more frog and one more ronin, banish both frogs sent to grave (dupe + poison draw) for both ronin, overlay for gachi gachi, tribute swap for sea lancer, activate sea lancer´s effect and equip both banished frogs. then you have a 2700 atk monster and a gachi gachi.
-1 treacherous trap hole: free +1 on field, destroy 2 of your opp´s monsters for free, or destroy 1 of your opp and 1 sangan/dupe frog, and get a search. nice card is nice.
extra deck (15)
1 windup zenmaines
1 leviair
1 utopia ray
1 gaia dragon, the thunder charger
3 gachi gachi
1 dark mist
2 E HERO absolute zero
1 leviathan
1 chimeratech fortress
1 formula synchron
1 temtempo
1 melomelody
side deck is sort of personal and it depends of what is played in your local area, but a quick draft could be:
side deck (15)
2 superpolimerization (thats why there are 2 absolute zero in the extra deck)
2 dust tornado (dimensional fissure/macro)
2 shadow imprisoning mirror (inzektor/DW)
2 chain dissapearance (all above 1000 atk)
2 royal decree (heavy trap decks)
2 kaiser glider (laggia)
2 MaxxC (combo decks, hieratics)
1 cyber dragon (random machina decks)
hope you have enjoyed and take a chance at non meta decks. one of its pros is the surprise factor.

Gravekeepers for the current meta
Its been a while since Ive posted. Everything has been going hectic but I am going to try to post more. With that said, lets get to the subject of the title. Gravekeepers?? Viable in this format?? I think so!!
With everything so effect dependent lately, you ask why gravekeepers?? The reason is gravekeepers have one of the best field cards in the game. Only second to ancient city: rainbow ruins. Abusing this factor with another great card this format could put it back in play. That other card is skill drain. Now we all know that GK depends on spys special summoning. This build focuses more on the beat and control concept instead of graveyard control. Here's the list:
GK Descendant-2
GK Spy-3
GK Recruiter-3
GK Commandant-3
Malefic Stardust Dragon-2
Beast King Barbaros-2
GK Stele-2
Pot of Duality-3
Necrovalley-3
Royal Tribute-1
Dark Hole-1
Book Of Moon-1
Wonder Wand-2
Forbidden Chalice-2
Bottomless Trap Hole-2
Solemn Warning-2
Solemn Judgment-1
Skill Drain-2
Dark Bribe-2
Starlight Road-1
The deck is able to shut down most of the meta decks fairly easy. We all know that most of the meta cannot deal with big monsters. To take advantage of that, we malefic stardust and barbaros. Both being good with skill drain on and off the field. There are a couple of unique choices in the deck most would disagree with. One of which is playing 1 royal tribute. The reason being is dark world loves that card for the major pluses it will bring. Another interesting choice is forbidden chalice. Think of it as a ATK boosting quickplay skill drain. This can be good offensively and defensively. It can easily stop an inzektor or wind-up or push that barbaros to 3400 in a pinch. The trap line up is pretty basic for this

Regionals and other things
helle everyone
my second chance of getting qualified for european championship is quite close (april's 28), so i have to test different deck in order to success.
first of all, i wont netdeck any deck (as chaos dragons), because i dont feel comfortable doing it. 2 of my teammates suggested to play chaos dragons, but my brother suggested to "play what you want".
in order to success, i have to take into account some factors surrounding main and side deck. those factor are:
-capability of siding dimensional fissure
-capability of siding gozen match/rivalry of warlords
-capability of siding royal decree
-capability of siding shadow imprisoning mirror
-capability of swarming
-capability of performing an OTK
-capability of search your key cards quickly
-capability of control your opp's hand
-capability of summoning zenmaines/leviair
-capability of stalling if needed
-capability of controlling the field
considering those factors, the first deck that came into my mind was inzektors (except for siding shadow imprisoning mirror). and after shuffling those factors, i ended up with a decklist that i have to test (but thats local's tourneys purpose)
monsters: 18
3 dragonfly
3 centipede
3 hornet
2 hopper
1 giga-mantis
1 sangan
1 mystic tomato
1 spirit reaper
2 effect veiler
1 gorz
magics: 17
1 dark hole
1 heavy storm
3 MST
1 mind control
2 zektkaliber
2 smoke grenade of the thief
3 pot of duality
1 book of moon
1 allure of darkness
1 book of moon
1 foolish burial
traps: 5
1 solemn judgment
2 solemn warning
2 torrential tribute
as you can see, i included 2 copies of smoke grenade of the thief to control ur opp's hand. despite what somebody could think, its not a bad or dead draw against DW, because DW builds run 15 monsters more or less, the rest are spells and traps.
i hope this deck do it well at locals, but must build the side deck according to the wide TCG meta.
thats all for today

Hanzo Hieratic
hello everyone
after so much time outta here. im back with som enews and what would be my next deck post GAOV.
the news are:
- i won a guide and sold it XD
- i pulled a zenmaines using tournament credit
- im not qualified for european championship yet (i only have 1 more chance at regionals and 1 more at nationals)
- i hope to sell my inzektor deck before GAOV release (3 hopper, 3 hornet, 3 centipede, 3 dragonfly, 3 zektkaliber, 1 giga-mantis)
- till i get all the cards required for Hanzo Hieratic, i will play Piper chaos.
after those quick updates, the decklist for Hanzo Hieratics:
monsters: 21
3 hanzo
1 luster dragon #2
1 wattdragon
3 hieratic SU
3 hieratic TEFNUIT
2 hieratic ESET
3 hieratic NEBTHET
2 red eyes darkness metal dragon
1 gorz
2 effect veiler
magics: 12
1 heavy storm
1 dark hole
3 hieratic seal of convocation
1 monster reborn
1 ROTA
3 MST
2 pot of duality
traps: 7
2 ninjitsu art of super transformation
2 torrential tribute
1 solemn judgment
2 solemn warning
the main deck could be somewhat like that, but i will have to test it and make some changes (like adding 1 "a wingbeat of giant dragon" instead of maining 3 MST); also i wont main any BLS, even if i can bring it to field.
i have to work in the extra deck, because i dont know how many "hieratic atum" run, and if i can make tiras/adreus.
thats all for today, fellas.
greetings.

Flamvell Laggia
Playing around with a few deck ideas, the one I decided to play is flamvell laggia. Its a deck that is focused on using monsters like flamvell firedog and jurrac guaiba. They can special summon monsters after destroying a monster by battle. The deck has a lot of capabilities.
Chow Len The Prophet-3
Flamvell Firedog-3
Flamvell Magician-2
Flamvell Archer-1
Jurrac Guaiba-3
Card Trooper-2
Rekindling-3
Forbidden Lance-3
Pot Of Duality-2
MST-2
Heavy Storm-1
Book Of Moon-1
Monster Reborn-1
Fiendish Chain-2
Solemn Warning-2
Torrential Tribute-2
Compulsory Evac Device-2
Call of the Haunted-2
Solemn Judgment-1
Starlight Road-1
Dark Bribe-1
Shock Master-1
Vylon Disigma-1
Number 39: Utopia-1
Gemknight Pearl-1
Evolzar Laggia-2
Evigishki Merrowgeist-1
Steelswarm Roach-1
Stardust Dragon-1
Scrap Dragon-2
Thought Ruler Archfiend-1
Black Rose Dragon-1
Arcanite Magician-1
Colossal Fighter-1
The deck is something unique that I had seen checking out World of OCG. This is just modified for the TCG. Some choices that was made was maining a Flamvell Archer. The reason I decided to main one is because Chow Len is a spellcaster. It gives you access to arcanite magician and also another way to special black rose dragon in case you may ever need to. Using two laggia in the extra while only playing three guaiba is something im testing out at the moment. I figured abusing call of the haunted is something decks dont really do. Im going to test and see how it goes. Making changes accordingly as testing progresses.
Thanks for reading guys.

YCS Long Beach
After the largest TCG event concludes, its numbers are staggering. Almost 4400 players attended this event. A variety of deck made their appearances here including the big three. Dino rabbit, inzektors, and wind-ups were there and large in numbers. After two days of playing, the final four comes down to Dino rabbit, Chaos piper, Skill drain heroes, and Dark world. After playing out the semis, only dino rabbit and dark world make it. After defeating rabbit 2-0 dark worlds rise to be victorious.
The build in question was something unique and probably unheard of until this event. Michael
Balan main decked malefic stardust to help protect the gates of DW. Maining tour guide to special broww and specialing grapha becomes that much easier to summon. He sided gellenduo against rabbit knowing that wouldn't activate dolkka's effect and laggia couldnt do anything against it. Maining skill drain probably helped this match up in favor of DW as well.

Galactic Overload OCG Import
As the release of Galactic nears, all of the exclusives are usually slowly revealed on the konami strategy site or yugioh-card.com. One of the imports that caught my attention was Number 11: Big eye.
Big eyes effect is something konami never liked. Something players tend to love and that is taking advantage of your opponents hard work for little to nothing. This card is a goyo guardian without having to do battle. Its effect is: Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster your opponent controls; take control of the target. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect.
This card has a great effect but also some bad points about it. One in particular is it is a rank 7 requiring 2 level 7 monsters. Level 7 monsters are not the easiest to summon this days. Let alone with good to great effects. The main one I think of Arcanite magician. Great card with an amazing effect. It can be hard to summon sometimes but well worth it in the end if successful.
Thanks for reading guys.

Managing playing chaos
hello everyone
it has been a long while since the last time i posted here. it is mostly due to regionals and testing and those kind of things.
after testing HERO, inzektors and darkworlds. its time for Chaos.
what you think at first glance, is that if you dont run TGU in chaos (which i would do), you wont be affected massively by MaxxC, since most of your special summons are inherent or in damage step (except battle fader); and can run some techs for those meta decks around.
sample decklist:
monsters (23)
1 BLS
2 chaos sorcerer
2 raioh
1 sangan
2 battle fader
1 gorz
1 neo spacian grand mole
2 kycoo the gost destroyer
3 effect veiler
2 MaxxC
1 honest
3 dimensional alchemist
2 caius
magics (10)
1 book of moon
1 monster reborn
1 heavy storm
3 MST
1 mind control
2 POD
1 dark hole
traps (7)
2 solemn W
1 solemn J
2 torrential tribute
2 fiendish chain
the deck is self-explanatory.
its a bit slow if you dont draw any alchemist. its purpose is to put pressure on your opponent using raioh, grand mole and kycoo; defend yourself using hand-trap cards (gorz, fader, veiler, honest and MaxxC) and get rid of your opp's big monsters using BLS, chaos sorcerer and caius.
the downside of this deck is side-deck options. you can side in 1 or 2 snowman eaters, 1 or 2 cyber dragons, DD crow and some spirit reaper, but you cant side in important cards such as shadow imprisoning mirror (against DW and inzektor), dimensional fissure (against DW), or gozen match (against SixSams, wind-up). so you must be aware of how you build your side deck according to not to disrupt your own strategy.
i will be testing the deck this evening. i expect good results, but i dont see this deck being better than HERO or inzektor.
i hope you enjoyed the article
greetings

what you think at first glance, is that if you dont run TGU in chaos (which i would do), you wont be affected massively by MaxxC, since most of your special summons are inherent or in damage step (except battle fader); and can run some techs for those meta decks around.
sample decklist:
monsters (23)
1 BLS
2 chaos sorcerer
2 raioh
1 sangan
2 battle fader
1 gorz
1 neo spacian grand mole
2 kycoo the gost destroyer
3 effect veiler
2 MaxxC
1 honest
3 dimensional alchemist
2 caius
magics (10)
1 book of moon
1 monster reborn
1 heavy storm
3 MST
1 mind control
2 POD
1 dark hole
traps (7)
2 solemn W
1 solemn J
2 torrential tribute
2 fiendish chain
the deck is self-explanatory.
its a bit slow if you dont draw any alchemist. its purpose is to put pressure on your opponent using raioh, grand mole and kycoo; defend yourself using hand-trap cards (gorz, fader, veiler, honest and MaxxC) and get rid of your opp's big monsters using BLS, chaos sorcerer and caius.
the downside of this deck is side-deck options. you can side in 1 or 2 snowman eaters, 1 or 2 cyber dragons, DD crow and some spirit reaper, but you cant side in important cards such as shadow imprisoning mirror (against DW and inzektor), dimensional fissure (against DW), or gozen match (against SixSams, wind-up). so you must be aware of how you build your side deck according to not to disrupt your own strategy.
i will be testing the deck this evening. i expect good results, but i dont see this deck being better than HERO or inzektor.
i hope you enjoyed the article

The best deck at my locals
hello everyone
today im going to talk about the best deck played at my locals; wind-ups. this is not due to skill factors, but to the fact that there are no rabbit-laggia decks, another wind-up deck, and not so much MaxxC (only 8 for 5 players). so after i took that into account, two Saturdays ago, i took my teammate's wind-up deck and modified it to the asian mode (not windup rabbit and no factories); so the results were: it won all tourneys held from then.
at the first tourney held, the decklist was a bit budget, since it run no TGU, but i won using it. so i gave the deck back to my teammate and proceeded to modified it throught last week. after we fit in 3 TGU, the deck won again both locals played last weekend (Saturday morning and Saturday evening). so i took it to improve it one more time (this time, it cannot be improved anymore) and i will play it on Friday evening.
both the 1st and 2nd build were able to discard 4 cards from ur opp's hand in my first turn (in the worst case, it would discard 3 cards), so if the player won the dice roll, he will win the first game without doubt.
the 3rd and last build can discard 5 cards from ur opp's hand in my first turn without using Daigusto Emerald, only adding 3 cards: 1 Tour Bus and 2 Monster Slots. lets see the build:
monsters (26)
2 windup hunter
3 windup rat
3 windup magician
3 windup shark
1 junk forward
3 TGU
1 tour bus
1 AG birdman
3 TG warwolf
3 gilasaurus
2 spell striker
1 marauding captain
magics (14)
3 upstart goblin
2 MST
1 monster reborn
1 heavy storm
2 monster slots
1 pot of avarice
2 fossil dig
1 ROTA
1 instant fusion
one of the ways to discard your opp's whole hand is TGU + monster reborn:
1. summon tgu, bring tour bus and go for zenmaighty.
2. zenmaighty eff (detaching TGU) for hunter, send 1 card and bring back zenmaighty to the extra with tour bus eff.
3. activate monster reborn for tour bus and go for zenmaighty, detach hunter and go for rat, send the 2nd card tributing zenmaighty and bring it back with tour bus eff.
4. repeat zenmaighty + rat and hunter to send 5 cards form your opp's hand to grave. note that when you have zenmaighty + rat + hunter and your opp only has 1 card in his/her hand, you must tribute rat instead of zenmaighty, because you can use zenmaigthy eff on your next turn if it is not destroyed.
another way to discard your opp's hand is magician + zenmaighty + monster slots:
1. summon 2 lvl 3 monsters (gilasaurus, spell striker, junk forward, instant fusion, gilasaurus + birdman, marauding + gilasaurus/warwolf/junk forward/instant fusion) and go for zenmaighty.
2. zenmaighty eff for magician, 1st magician eff for hunter and tribute 1st magician (-1 in hand).
3. 2nd magician eff for 2nd hunter and tribute 2nd magician (-2 in hand).
4. go for 2nd zenmaighty and eff for 1st rat; rat eff for hunter and tribute 1 zenmaighty (-3 in hand).
5. go for 3rd zenmaighty and eff (detaching rat) for 2nd rat. activate monster slots, targeting both rats on field and graveyard. the rat on graveyard will be banished and it doesnt matter if you dont draw any monster capable of being summoned.
6. you should have: 2 face up zenmaighty, 1 face up rat and 1 banished rat.
6.1. if you drew a lvl 3 monster: summon it. rat eff for hunter, tribute rat (-4 in hand). overlay hunter and lvl3 monster for leviair and eff for rat. rat eff for hunter and tribute rat (-5 in hand). field: 2 zenmaighty, 1 leviair, 1 hunter.
6.2. if you drew a windup shark: rat eff for hunter, summon shark. hunter eff on shark (-4 in hand). overlay hunter and rat for leviair and eff for rat. rat eff for hunter and tribute rat (-5 in hand). field: 2 zenmaighty, 1 leviair, 1 hunter.
6.3. if you drew neither lvl 3 monster nor windup shark: rat eff for hunter, tribute zenmaighty (-4 in hand). overlay rat and hunter for leviair. leviair eff for banished rat. rat eff for hunter and tribute rat (-5 in hand). field: 1 zenmaighty, 1 leviair, 1 hunter.
note that neither effect veiler nor MaxxC must be involved in this combo. also note that due to the huge amount of lvl 3 monster that can be special summoned, 1 effect veiler cant stop sending 3 more cards from your opp's hand to grave. so you will have sent 4 cards in total.
hope you have enjoyed this post and hope it help you to make different builds of a known deck and make different comboes.
thats all for today.

March 2012 Dimensional Eatos
Everyone has probably tried to revive good decks of past format. This is my attempt at one. Dimensional eatos was a deck that was anti meta in a format that was heavily reliant on graveyard. The format currently depends on effects that activate on field and depend on graveyard a little bit.
Lets get to the decklist and break down:
Guardian Eatos-3
Beast King Barbaros-3
Elemental Hero Neo Alius-3
Photon Thrasher-2
Elemental Hero Stratos-1
D.D. Survivor-1
Crusader of Endymion-1
Gemini Spark-3
Forbidden Chalice-2
Mystical Space Typhoon-2
Dimensional Fissure-2
Pot of Duality-2
Dark Hole-1
Soul Release-1
Reinforcement of the Army-1
E Emergency Call-1
Skill Drain-2
Fiendish Chain-2
Macros Cosmos-2
Bottomless Trap Hole-2
Starlight Road-1
Torrential-1
Dimensional Prison-1
There are a couple of unique choices in the deck that were not available during its reign originally. One of them is Photon Thrasher. Thrasher is a good beater that can be searched. Under skill drain it gets that much better. Something people are wondering is why am I only playing one survivor?? I'm only playing one because once in play it will keep reviving itself and its searchable.
The spell line-up is nothing special really. playing soul release is good this format with everything having a slight dependency on graveyard. You can banish those hornets sitting in yard. Stop the wind-up loop by banishing hunter. Forbidden chalice is one of my fav cards in the deck because its something people do not expect anymore. It negates the effect and gives a slight boost of 400 ATK. If you use it on an opponents monster usually you will be able to run it over even with the 400 boost.
The trap line-up is also a little different this time around as well. Macros cosmos is up to 2 now instead of the one people played originally. With exceeds now in the game, macros is better because it will still remove the materials unlike dimensional fissure. So this is great against anything thats heavy on exceeding (cough dino rabbit cough) or monsters that act as equip spell cards when sent to the graveyard (cough hornet). It will allow wind ups not to reuse their zenmaightys and rats. So it can hurt alot of the meta right now. The one torrential tribute is a player preference.
Let me know what you guys think and suggest changes to the deck. Thanks for reading guys.

Absorb Jar
A new monster coming out of Galactic Overlord. Its a new monster to add to the jar archtype. I think this card could see some play but its kinda late. Now that new format is in effect. Setting backrow is not as popular with decks like inzektors running around.
Absorb Jar effect: FLIP: Destroy all Set Spell and Trap Cards on the field. Then, each player draws cards equal to the number of their cards destroyed by this effect. This turn, you cannot Set cards.
I see a lot of potential in this card. Especially against decks that set a lot like Rabbit, Bubbleman Beat, TG Stun, Glad Beast etc. It allows the players to draw depending on how many of their cards were destroyed and cards cannot be set for the remainder of the turn. This would be good when you opponent attacks into it. This would destroy their set spell and trap and they cannot set like they normally would during main phase 2.
Its a good way to draw out starlight roads etc. It cannot be dark bribed like heavy storm can. It has its upsides and downsides but I feel like it will be a good tech or side deck card.

Two terms to take into account this format and in the upcoming ones.
hello everyone
you should be familiar about what im going to talk about, reprints and presales; both are things to take into account when you play YGO.
reprints: are an important part of the game for budget players and for smart players. budget players are mostly noobs and kids (face it), and have not so much money to pay for that meta-changing playset, so they will play poor versions of a meta deck, having lesser chances to get success (most of those noobs realize that they wont succes and turn to play anti-meta or burn decks). smart players have the money and can pay for that playset, but they know how konami is, and know that there will be a reprint of that card (TGU can be a good example); so its better wait for the reprint and simply play a deck that doesnt need those cards (when POD was released, i used to play HERO STUN, a deck that didnt need the PODs, due to E-call, Stratos and ROTA).
presales: this the simplest concept and the most useful of all YGO. there are only 3 steps to have success here.
1. go to OCG blogs, or OCG news and look for that new card/deck that is widely used because is very good and useful.
2. go to Dueling Network and make a TCG version of that deck, or add that widely used card to a deck and start testing. in this step, you need to know about TCG meta dekcs and adapt your deck to the TCG playstyle (taking into account priority ruling and TCG exclusives).
3. after you have your deck/card tested. look for a presale on ebay, trollandtoad, TCGmarket, MAWO cards, and so.
the difference between both concepts is the quantity of money. for some presales, you will need a good quantity of money, but the price tag of the card can increase and you will have spent less money than the people that didnt buy through presale.
be aware of some presales, becasuse i saw on ebay a presale of 1 inzektor dragonfly/centipede/hornet for more than 40$, before knowing its rarities (i hope noone bought those presales).
i hope this help you to get important cards at a low price.
greetings

Preparing for regionals
hello everyone
today i have much more time than yesterday to write a post.
my team is preparing for regionals, which will be held on March 24th (Saturday), so it is my only chance to get qualified for european championship. all the four components will be playing meta decks, but maybe the deck distribution will be 1 wind-up (or 2, depending if we get the 6th rat and the 5th hunter), 1 or 2 inzektor, 1 hero , 1 rabbit laggia.
the 3 decks that are confirmed are both inzektor decks and the wind-up deck (if i play it, it will be the asian variant; using gilasaurus and so, in which the minimun amount of cards sent by your opp is 4, and cannot be stopped by effect veiler. true). the bad thing is that if i dont play the wind-up deck and my teammate doesnt get the rabbitlaggia cards that he doesnt have, i will have to play HERO STUN (a deck that im very familiar with, so it is not a bad new).
what if i have to play HERO STUN?
if i play HERO STUN, i will have to take into account my worst matchup (wind-ups) and main/tech cards in consequence. so lets write a sample decklist:
monsters (6)
1 stratos
3 neos alius
1 captain gold
1 grand mole
magics (19)
1 dark hole
2 mst
1 reborn
1 ROTA
2 E call
3 miracle fusion
2 super poli
3 POD
3 gemini spark
1 skyscraper
traps (15)
2 torrential tribute
3 skill drain
3 HERO blast
1 solemn J
2 solemn W
1 starlight road
2 BTH
1 mirror force
extra (15)
3 the shinning (at last, legal in europe!!!!)
2 nova master
2 absolute zero
1 gaia
1 great tornado
1 stardust
1 utopia
1 utopia ray
1 roach
1 warrior + dragon fusion (didnt know its english name)
1 something random
as you can see, i main 3 skill drain to stop all the decks around (mainly rabbit). if skill drain is destroyed or negated, i also main 1 skyscraper to destroy the XYZs in battle. i have another variant in mind (maining 2 divas + gachi and 3 jurrac guaiba + laggia + dolkka), but due to the ammount of effect veiler, i wont run it.
so comment or recommend any card. suggestions are wellcomed

quick update
hello everyone
have 26 minutes to write this post, since i will have to enter in class at 10 a.m.
after testing so much the inzektor deck with 3 card-car d, i realized that i have to main gorz (yes, i didnt main it). other card that came into mi mind is royal decree, but it will conflict with call of the haunted, so it will be a side-deck choice.
another deck that i want to test (if i got qualified for european championship) is final countdown. but seeing how the meta is, dolkka is a pain in the ass for that deck, bu ti will test it anyways.
well the teacher is in, i must leave now.

Night Shot
It reminds me of Super smash bros ending. lol |
The effect is: Target 1 Set Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy that target. Your opponent cannot activate that target in response to this card's activation.
This is going to see play along side mystical space typhoon. It is a way to shut down those cards that can be chained. Some big examples are call of the haunted, forbidden lance, book of moon, mystical space typhoon.
There are a lot more cards from galactic overlord that Im going to review down the line.
Thanks for readin guys.

Card Car D
hello everyone
today im going to talk about this card.
first its effect:
Cannot be Special Summoned. During your Main Phase 1, if this card was Normal Summoned during this turn: You can Tribute it; draw 2 cards, and enter your End Phase. You cannot Special Summon monsters during this turn.
losing 1 turn can be somewhat bad, but draw 2 cards is awesome nowadays.
before playing this card, you should set a m/t card so not to have 7 cards in your hand at the end phase (unless you dont mind to discard a treeborn frog, or an inzektor hornet).
this card is seeing play in combo decks that has no big turn 1, such as hieroglyph, lavals, infernity (ending with 3 set barriers, a face up infernity monster and a face up void dragon).
maining this card, pot of duality and upstart goblin will thin your deck too much and will be esential to get the key cards in your strategy. after the release of this card in TCG, maybe combo-oriented decks´popularity will increase (so did in OCG).
as soon as possible (since this card will be legal in May), i will be testing my inzektor deck maining 3 of these, 3 duality and 3 upstart goblin in DN. so if you see me online, feel free to play against me (heavy sh*t eater is my username).
thats all for today

as soon as possible (since this card will be legal in May), i will be testing my inzektor deck maining 3 of these, 3 duality and 3 upstart goblin in DN. so if you see me online, feel free to play against me (heavy sh*t eater is my username).
thats all for today

Nationals.. What will you be playing??
A lot is going on in yugioh at the moment. March format has been confirmed. Some of the craziest reprints are set to be released in the next few months. A new set in may and hidden arsenal as well. So that bring the question is what will you be playing at nationals that's in july.
The big three right now are clear options to be played at the big events. The best of the three right now would probably have to be dino rabbit. It's a close call between wind-ups and inzektors. Not every player will want to follow the meta.
So what decks do you think will pick up steam with everything on its way in the next few months??? Any decks that could become tier overnight a little later down the road?? Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks for reading

If you want success in the upcoming format...
hello everyone
after analyzing the next banlist, its not difficult to see what will be the meta during the next 6 months (unless Konami made an emergency banlist).
the triad has been stablished even before March. every smart player should know that wind-ups, inzektors and dinorabbit decks will be the ones that will mostly top.
so the easiest deck you can make of those three is inzektors; it is the one i decided to make of those three. if you want a decklist go to previous posts.
the problem is that, despite of which of those decks you want to run you will need the cards to counter inzektors, dinorabbit and wind-ups. those cards are Maxx C, Effect veiler and Zenmaines.
if you dont have those cards, it will be very difficult to counter dinorabbit and wind-ups, but with veiler (the cheapest of those 3 cards), you can counter inzektors and half-counter wind-ups.
what about the "tier 2" decks, such as SixSams, GKs (royal tribute is a pain in the ass), HERO variants? those decks can fight perfectly against the Triad mentioned avobe, but you will have to include a pair of techs (the most poular is fiendish chain) and make your best side deck choices to success against those decks.
another issue that you have to take into account is speed. the Triad has too many speed; dinorabbit and wind-ups have a highly strong Turn 1. inzektors are the slowest of those three, but they use their Turn 1 to send Hornet to grave or add Dragonfly or Centipede to its hand. so in a couple of turns, those decks can wreck you completely and make some pluses without effort.
the deck i most know about is inzektors. so to build an inzektor deck (as budget as possible), you will need 4 engines:
inzektor engine: 3 hornet, 3 dragonfly, 3 centipede, 1 giga-mantis (if you want a budget, mantis is optional)
milling engine: 1 or 2 mystic tomato (1 if you run 2 card trooper), 1 armagedon knight, 2 card trooper.
milled engine: 2 call of the haunted (maybe 3 from March 2012; to be cahined to MST and destroy card trooper/sangan, or to bring back a milled inzektor and make some pluses), BW zephiros the elite (i havent even tested it yet, but maybe is an excelent choice to bounce one of your inzektors if they got veilered, of to bounce a CotH), 2 necro gardna (excelent to protect your inzektors from be attacked, also it is lvl 3, to perform the infamous rank 3 xyz), sangan (return it with an MSTed CotH and get a free search)
synchro engine: even with the raise of xyz and konami forcing us to play them, synchros are an important part of this deck. i only run 4 tuners, 3 effect veiler and 1 AG birdman. veiler can be back to the field to summon armory arm together with any inzektor, and both monsters be banished for the BLS+armory arm OTK. birdman is very good to save you veilered dragonfly, returning it to your hand; it also can perform som eplays thet will wreck your opp, such as: dragonfly eff, centipede eff, search for giga mantis, bounce dragonfly to perform the dragonfly+mantis combo next turn, go into any lvl 6 syncho (preferably undergound arachnid to take one of your opps monsters, most of times, zenmaines)or rank 3 xyz (zenmaines or leviathan). if your opp controls an important monster (grapha, JD), dont use centipede eff, bounce dragonfly, and synchro summon Locomotion R Genex to gain control over your opp monster. maybe i should run 2 birdman instead of 1, since the popularity of veiler and fiendish chain is increasing.
after adding those engines, just splash some magic and trap cards and you will have your "budget" inzektor deck. you can try different builds, putting more traps, removing 2 card trooper and 2 necro gardna, and including 2 raiohs.
thats all for today.

Konami's money hungry antics becomes clear.
The official OCG banlist has been revealed. Its automatically says money when you look at it. Nothing major was hit besides plants, tg, and agents. Inzektors, wind-ups, and rabbit still exist at full power. Hell, inzektors can make more reckless plays now that call is unlimited. Warnings are probably gonna be worthless. A structure deck card was finally hit despite all of those who said konami would never do it .
This isn't completely about the banlist this is about konami's money hungry antics becoming clear to see. (Note the title lol) Konami has always been about money and we all knew this. To think it would get this bad is not really surprising but quite annoying though. It forces players to pick decks that everyone is playing to keep up. Synchrocentric decks (stupid name) are no longer viable. Tengu at two is still playable but in the eyes of most players, it just became dead. I got so many calls about the tengu alone. Every call was basically "why put tengu at two? They might as well have banned it. No one is gonna play it at two." Inzektors are a force to reckon with. They gain advantage for free almost. They weren't touched. Wind-ups loops your opponents hands leaving them no outs. They weren't touched. Rabbit specials a walking 2400 attacking solemn judgment for almost nothing. Not a finger!! Why?? Konami wants money. This game isn't so much about the players as whats in their pockets. If you expect to continue to play at a competitive level, your gonna have to spend money and play the obvious.
All I can hope is that Cardfight Vanguard! get stateside soon. Its looking like a better game than yugioh is becoming. When games are less concerned with players and have other ideas instead. It loses players to games about the players. Yugioh is definitely gonna start to lose players if something isn't done soon. I personally feel banlist should be up to the players. The players are what keep the game going. You keep them happy, you keep the game going. Simple as that.
Thanks for reading.
PS if anyone knows anything about cardfight coming stateside, shoot me an email. Would to be in the loop on that.

YGO weekend's report
hello everyone
after this weekend's locals. inzektor didnt managed to top because of side deck. the build is fairly well, almost excelent, but the chances of being veiler'd and shadow imprisoned are too high. necro gardna is madness, as well as mystic tomato and call of the haunted.
BUT, i cannot play dimensional fissure as soon as possible in games 2 and 3, because i have multiple graveyard reliant cards (some of them are sided out, of course).
on friday, ended 2-2, on saturday, my brother ended 2-2 due to hitting the wrong card with hornet, but that's the game about, luck. instead of inzektors, i played heroes, teching 2 divas and 3 guaibas (giving room for easy nova master and laggia/dolkka plays); it worked pretty well against everything (i topped and the top shared the prize).
as trading corcerns, my brother and me traded for 3 rykos, 3 lylas, 3 pulsar, 3 red eyes, 3 chaos sorcerer, 3 darkflare dragon, 3 wyvern, 1 hornet and 1 tour bus, only throwing useless sh*t.
after that, we tested the new dragon deck, which needs some cards (depending of the version) to get rid of spirit reaper. the fact is that there are too many staples in this deck, as:
3 wyvern
3 pulsar
3 red eyes
1 BLS
1/2 chaos sorcerer
3 divine dragon aprocalips
3 effect veiler
milling engine (maybe 2 troopers, 2 ryko, 1 charge, and 2 call of the haunted to recycle milled monsters)
1 sangan
3 dimensional alchemist (testing those dudes because they work pretty well and can take ur banished monsters if COTH is chained to MST).
that's 26 monsters, but i want to make room for dandylion, debris dragon and 2 or 3 dragon ravine to make the deck faster and to make synchros as stardust, scrap drago, trishula, orient dragon and so. i will test the deck more and i will post the results.
apart from that, this saturday will be the ORCS tournament or something like that. in which the prizes are: 1 bag, some deck boxes, 12 boosters for the winner and something else. my team is cospiracing to manage all of us to top 4 (since we're four dudes), that is, winning all games.
thats all what you will get from me today.

Tour Guide Reprint!!
I awoke to being bored, decided to wonder around the interwebz and what do I stumble upon. Battle Pack: Epic Dawn!!! This pack is a god-send for the TCG. High value cards being dropped to something like a shiny named rare! Also with this pack, we will finally get Gemknight Pearl. A 2600 attacker exceed and no effect. Best part, its after the ban hammer is dropped. OCG look out for your tour guides, they're probably coming soon as well.

Inzektor decklist
hello everyone
after testing Trance DW (it gave good results maining 3 Trance Archfiend), i moved to inzektor, wich cost me 65 € (87 $) to complete.
this week, inzektor giga-mantis will arive via mail from USA, and the decklist will be:
monsters (26)
3 hornet
3 dragonfly
3 centipede
1 giga-mantis
1 gorz
1 sangan
2 card trooper
2 necro gardna
1 armagedon knight
1 mystic tomato
3 effect veiler
1 BLS
2 Maxx C
1 ally genex birdman
1 dark armed dragon
spells (11)
3 MST
1 dark hole
1 monster reborn
1 heavy storm
3 POD
1 foolish burial
1 allure of darknes
traps (3)
1 trap dustshoot
2 call of the haunted
extra deck (15)
2 chimeratech fortress dragon
1 leviathan
1 leviair
1 zenmaines
1 steelswarm roach
1 utopia
1 armory arm
1 brionac
1 BRD
1 stardust
1 underground arachnid
1 trishula
1 locomotion R genex
1 ancient fairy dragon
so here it is. its a bit budget, since i run no TGU, and it gave me good results last weekend even running only 1 Maxx C and no giga-mantis. the bad thing is that i failed making the side-deck (pretty poor against DW, which won me at finals). call of the haunted is THE CARD, since it can bring back sangan and trooper if it is MSTed and gain too much advantage.
thats all for today (at least from me, i dunno if U will post something today)

March banlist (wall of text warning)
As March begins to close in, so does the march format. This one is gonna be an interesting one. Alot of decks in play that are susceptible to be whacked by the banhammer of Konami. I'll go ahead and post mine as well:
Banned:
Black Luster Soldier: Envoy of the Beginning
Mind Control
Dandylion
Heavy Storm
Limited:
Goyo Guardian
Tour Guide From the Underworld
Wind-Up Zemaighty
Royal Oppression
Agent Of Creation: Venus
Rescue Rabbit
Giant Trunade
Daigusto Emerald
Semi-Limited
Master Hyperion
Book of Moon
Mystical Space Typhoon
Solemn Judgment
Inzektor Dragonfly
Unlimited
No Change
Black Luster Solder EotB:
No explanation need for this monster of a card. Its an 1 card otk with either armory arm or honest. Its capable of changing the outcome of a game easily. It can be reborned after being correctly summoned. Genex Ally Triforce can summon this card for free. Its too easy to summon and barely has limits on it.
Mind Control:
It wins games. Its almost as bad as brain control but you just cant attack with it. With the exceed engine in play, This has been getting abuse like crazy.
Dandylion:
Does this really need explaining?? Tour guide tengu plant decks love this card. Its not gonna kill the deck but definitely slow down the synchro stuff its capable of enabling.
Heavy Storm:
Every format konami switches trunade and storm. No different this time either.
Goyo Guardian:
Something probably not gonna happen. Big generic level 6 synchro that specials a defeated monster in defense on your field. With the game the way it is, it wouldn't be as overpowered as it used to be. We have warning now and easily avail. We shall see konami
Tour Guide From the Underworld:
This card has alone defined the TCG format. This card has been every deck that was won a YCS since Providence back in June. Im sure its been in every top 8 deck since release. Its time to hit every YCS winning decklist.
Wind-Up Zenmaighty:
Its the heart of the wind-up hand loop deck following hunter. Why not touch hunter?? Hunter is on good for the hand loop and exceeding. . For the most part, it stops the hand loop dead in its tracks.
Royal Oppression:
Something that should have never been banned in the 1st place. The main reason it was banned was because Konami has never liked the "one card that stops everything" type of card. This is a perfect example of that concept. Special summoning at an all-time high. We could use some control again.
Agent of Creation Venus:
This card is a big part of the deck for agents and TG agents. It special summons shine balls and the deck begins to start the combos. Its also a level 3 monster so it becomes a leviair material after running out of shine balls. Plain and simple, its a searchable enabler.
Rescue Rabbit:
In its release, it single-handed created a control deck that abuses vanillas. Something that had not seen alot play in a very long time. This deck brought them back to light and began to win too! The reason for its limited status on my list is because theres always leviair to recycle it.
Giant Trunade:
See Heavy Storm.
Daigusto Emerald:
Pot of avarice is one, why shouldnt this be. This card is capable of put back up to 6 cards and drawing 2. Now compared to avarice, its slower because of the once per turn limit but its also a monster. I think this could be one of those cases where the TCG won't even get to experience it completely.
Master Hyperion:
Its a dark armed dragon for the agent theme. While alot of people believe structure deck only cards will not get it. I think this one could break the mold in this case. Top decking this card has won games. Not to mention, agents won this past world championship. Im sure this card had a hand in it.
Book of Moon:
Something we could all use. A card to control the field. Seeing that inzektors are running things like crazy. This provides some defense against it.It can also be used as an offensive card too. The supposed reason it was limited was because Kevin Tewart felt that the players weren't using it "correctly". Completely disagree with that but.... oh well.
Mystical Space Typhoon:
This card at 3 was excessive. 2 was fine at the time. Most decks don't even main the 3rd. Its usually sitting in the side deck.
Solemn Judgment:
Now I know I'm gonna looked at differently for this one. With warning at 2, why put this at 2 as well. It gives players options. Of course, I don't see this happening but its Konami. Anything is possible with them.
Inzektor Dragonfly:
This card starts the loop that pluses so much in the deck. I'm sure we all know the loop or have seen it. Not much explanation needed.
With that wall o' text completed, let me know what you guys think well be in store for in with the banlist nearing release.
Thanks for reading.

Hero Beat: Small teams!!
Ive always been a big fan of heroes since the debut of absolute zero. Ever since then Ive always tried to play heroes in every format regardless of what the meta was. This format was no different. I attempted to recreate old school zero and add tengus. It worked fairly well but wasn't fast enough to keep up with agents etc. So once again im attempting to try it again. Except this time Ill be using an ocg concept to boot. Recently hero beat has been doing quite well in the ocg with its unique builds. Some of which include unusual techs and different objections as a win condition. I like the concepts from the ocg so much better. They're not dependent on exclusives like the tcg is currently. With that, here's the decklist:
Elemental Hero Stratos-1
Photon Thrasher-3
Elemental Hero Alius-3
Elemental Hero Bubbleman-3
E Emergency Call-2
Pot Of Duality-3
Gemini Spark-3
Mystical SPace Typhoon-2
Super Polymerization-2
Miracle Fusion-3
Book Of Moon-1
Reinforcement Of The Army-1
Monster Reborn-1
Dark Hole-1
Dimensional Prison-2
Torrential Tribute-1
Starlight Road-1
Bottomless Trap Hole-2
Hero Blast-2
Solemn Warning-2
Solemn Judgment-1
Elemental Hero The Shining-2
Elemental Hero Absolute Zero-2
Elemental Hero Great Tornado-1
Elemental Hero Gaia-1
Elemental Hero Nova Master-1
Chimeratech Fortress Dragon-1
Dragon Knight Draco Equiste-1
Stardust Dragon-1
Blade Armor Ninja-2
Number 39: Utopia-2
Number 10: Illumiknight-1
Now there are a couple of unique choices in the build I felt will work with the synergy of the idea. Photon Thrasher is one of the those cards. Its quite a good card. Its can special summon itself is you control no monsters. Its not a cyber dragon where your opponent needs a monsters while you don't. Its a level 4 monster which is very good for this deck. Its a warrior which is a requirement for blade armor ninja. It can be searched by reinforcement of the army as well. This version of hero beat is different from the standard for a number of reasons. The monster count is lower than standard hero beat. Its more focused on the beat of the opponent than controlling what they can do. It recycles like crazy. Give it a try and offer up some suggestions and advice if you have any.
Thanks for reading.

Wind-up hand loop: Greatness or Epic Fail??
By now I'm sure just about everyone has knowledge of the hand loop possible by this deck. Now for the now big question... Is it gonna hold its own in the current meta tcg side? We know the deck is very good ocg side. But any player from either side can tell you, the metas are quite different. With the TCG have broken exclusives in just about every set, it tends to be more aggro than anything. The OCG is more chill and seems to be better in general. With that said, the hand loop is doing fairly well in the OCG. This could be one of those situations like dark world. Everyone thought because is was doing so well in the OCG that it would come over and just dominate the TCG as well. I can tell you from personally being there at the first YCS it was legal. Everyone was ready for it and there wasn't enough time to find a "groove" if you will to let it do well. It flopped pretty badly at that YCS. I remember playing one and the guy didn't know what he was doing whatsoever. He had the tour guides and ravens. The whole shebang and my TG stun tore him to pieces. The following YCS it did fair wayyy better than the its premier. It also had access to dark smog at that time which I think played a key role in the better results. I think the wind-up hand loop isn't going to do so well at first, but after people learn to play it though, it'll be a force to reckon with.

Trance Archfiend in Dark World.
hello everybody
this time i came with a card that will increase DW potential to the max (it sounds like a Konami´s advertising lol): Trance Archfiend.
first, its stats and effect:
atk/1500, def/500, Fiend, Dark, level 4
Once per turn: You can discard 1 Fiend-Type monster and have this card gain 500 ATK, until the End Phase. When this card on the field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 of your banished DARK monsters; add it to your hand.
the good point is that discarding is not a cost, but an effect; so you will get DW´s effects when discarded. also it will be a 2000 atk (2300 if gates of the underwolrd is on the field), so it will go over Raioh easier than ever.
its second effect also deals with DW. when destroyed, you can add 1 banished dark monster and put it in ur hand, to discard it again and those stuff that DW does.
so im testing DW including 3 of those dudes, if it doesnt works, i will put 2 instead of three, to have Draged Down Into the Grave alive.
i will post the testing results as soon as possible, with its decklist.
greetings

Change of meta??
As I was looking over a couple of blogs I read regularly. One in particular (Zero-Th Theory) is speculating on the March Banlist. I like his banlist. With reading this post, I've realized that March isn't as far away as we think. I think with the banlist coming soon, I hope it brings a change from the craziness we have now to something a little more controlled and slower paced. Im not going to post a banlist as of yet. But will do so soon enough. With this post all finished, go check out his blog! Great stuff relating to YGO.

Wind-up decklist
hello everybody
this is Heavy Shit Eater on his first post on this blog.
afert testing a bit the new Wind-up monsters (specially Shark), i complete a decklist that can perform the loop and has access to synchro monsters if the loop is interrupted and you have to end the game with big dudes as Trishula.
so here is the decklist:
monsters (24)
3 tour guide from the underworld
3 windup rat
3 windup hunter
3 windup shark
3 ally genex birdman
2 TG warwolf
2 effect veiler
2 C Maxx
1 TG striker
1 tour bus from the underworld
1 sangan
spells (15)
3 upstart goblin
3 MST
2 instant fusion
2 pot of benevolence
1 heavy storm
1 dark hole
1 monster reborn
1 pot of avarice
1 book of moon
traps (1)
1 treacherous trap hole
extra deck (15)
3 windup zenmaighty
2 windup zenmaines
1 leviair
1 leviathan dragon
2 level 3 fusion monsters
1 AOJ catastor
1 black rose dragon
1 trishula
1 brionac
1 gaia knight
1 chimeratech fortress dragon
the deck has very good hands, only with TGU, TG warwolf and instant fusion, you can perform the loop even if ur opponent uses Effect Veiler on one of your monsters. also the tech that im testing, pot of benevolence, works pretty well, because you will return 2 zenmaighty most of times to perform the whole loop and sned all ur opponent´s hand to the grave.
any comment about the deck is welcomed.
thats all for today

Wind-up Shark - Another good TCG exclusive or a card that'll collect dust??
Order of Chaos is right around the corner. As always, the TCG has it exclusives. This just so happens to be one of them. With the wind-up archetype on the rise to becoming a meta deck with this set's release, an exclusive should have been expected. We get this cute guy!!
Very viciously cute!!! |
Water
Fish Type
Fish Type
Level 4
Effect Monster
When a “Wind-Up” monster is Normal or Special Summoned to your side of the field: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn: You can activate 1 of these effects:
● Increase this card’s Level by 1, until the End Phase. ● Reduce this card’s Level by 1, until the End Phase.
● Increase this card’s Level by 1, until the End Phase. ● Reduce this card’s Level by 1, until the End Phase.
Now alot of people are like " WTF??" This card will help take the archetype to the next level. As many people know by now, wind-ups will be like x-sabers in their prime. Hand looping an opponent first turn will leave them defenseless and thus making the game an easier win for you. The hand loop deck consists of mostly level three monsters that can be easily summoned for little to no cost. This card follows the same idea EXCEPT that its originally a level 4. This has it advantages as well. Once we get Daigusto Emerald this card will become that much better. With this and magician in the deck, the deck will gain access to rank 4 exceeds.
Thats all for today. Look fo rmore frequent updates from me. Also Im looking for a couple to contribute to the blog. Email me if your interested. Thanks for reading!!!
